2010 brings us the 24th Breitenbush Herbal Conference. The theme for this year’s conference, “The History and Mystery of Herbal Medicine” explores a wide array of topics including: Ancient Roots of Herbal Medicine, Healing with Flower Essences, California Curanderismo, A Pathway from Addiction with Herbs and Supplements, Hydrotherapy: Do Magic at Home, Maya Abdominal Massage, Moxa Magic, Healing Lyme's Disease, Traditional Foods as Medicine, Tree Medicine - Tree Magic, Facials Galore: Time Tested Recipes Using Nature’s Bounty, Physical Assessment of the Herbal Client, Concurrent Use of Medication and Herbs, Maya Spiritual Healing, Herbs That Are Red - Herbs of the Earth Chakra and many Herb Walks.
Workshops, demonstrations, herb walks and merriment, will appeal to all levels of students. The healing waters and ancient forests of Breitenbush provide an incredible setting for this gathering. In addition to the main conference, consider joining us from 9:30 to 3:30 on Friday for one of the 2 Pre-Conference Intensives, “California Curandismo” with Charles Garcia or "Ancient Roots - Future Visions of Medical Herbalism ~ Ancient History of Medical Herbalism and Its Impact and Role in the 21st Century" with Candis Cantin, or the Pre-conference Excursion with Howie Brounstein.
